Joshua McIlwain
Josh McIlwain, SFP, LEED Green Associate, serves as Senior Account Executive at Ameresco in Colorado where his work involves Energy Performance Contracting projects to tackle energy efficiency, HVAC/Lighting/Controls system upgrades, renewable energy, and water conservation challenges for municipal and county governments, K12, higher education, healthcare, and special district clients.
Josh advocates tirelessly to advance policy and legislation that supports energy efficiency to benefit Colorado communities, municipalities and residents. In addition, he is a regular public speaker and presenter to inspire wise stewardship of our resources and management of our built environment.
Elected to the Board of the IFMA Sustainability Community (ISC), he also serves as the VP of the Corporate Facilities Council for IFMA International and is in his second stint as Chair of IFMA Denver's Sustainability Committee. He is a past Eric Teicholz SFP Scholarship Award winner, frequent speaker and panelist for IFMA, past editor of the FM Professional Magazine, and gives his time to several other non-profits. Previously, he has been awarded “Associate of the Year” and “New Member of the Year” within the Denver Chapter of IFMA.
With more than 20 years of experience in facilities services, he believes passionately in giving back to the community as a frequent fundraiser and volunteer for a variety of human centric causes including: cancer research, food scarcity, housing and workforce development. Josh believes that "how we do anything, is how we do EVERYTHING", and that "We are put on this earth to love, protect and take care of each other."

Debbie Reece
Debbie Reece, MNLM, CMP, is an association executive and nonprofit leader with nearly 25 years of experience driving organizational growth, revenue generation, member engagement, and operational excellence. As President of DLK Marketing & Events, she has spent 17 years leading a successful Association Management Company (AMC), providing executive leadership, governance support, strategic planning, marketing, sponsorship development, and event management for professional and trade associations. Debbie currently serves as Executive Director for the IFMA Denver, San Fernando Valley, and Central Coast Chapters, as well as IREM Southern Colorado. She oversees strategy, financial management, membership growth, communications, education, and volunteer leadership engagement. Her career has focused on organizations within the built environment, including facilities management, commercial real estate, construction, and related industries. She has successfully doubled partnership revenue and golf tournament fundraising revenue through strategic business development and stakeholder engagement. Under her leadership, IFMA chapters have earned seven Awards of Excellence over the past nine years. In 2025, she received the IFMA Denver President's Award for exceptional leadership, innovation, and contributions to the profession. Debbie holds a Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from George Mason University, and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
