DESCRIPTION:Great workshop for new facility management professionals and associates new to the industry.\n\nLearn the language of FM through the Essentials of Facility Management\, a workshop series to help those who are new to the field of FM\, such as a new hire or to standardize the language across teams. These workshops focus on basic concepts that describe the field of FM and how it can be of value to an organization. The primary goal of these workshops is to address the participant’s role in the tactical planning for how to schedule and accomplish daily FM tasks that support the operations of an organization’s facilities.\n\nIFMA’s Essentials of Facility Management Workshop series is designed to help newcomers to the field understand the language and basic concepts of Facility Management (FM) as well as the facility manager’s (FM’s) role in the tactical planning\, scheduling\, and accomplishment of daily FM tasks. Successful completion of all three training workshops will grant an electronic certificate of completion. \n\nEssentials of FM - Goals and Learning Outcomes:\n• Teams unite using consistent terminology and tactics\n• Learn the language and basic concepts of FM\n• Know the value of FM to an organization\n• Understand daily FM tasks and challenges\n\nEssentials of FM is perfect for:\n• Those just entering the facility management field\n• People wanting to deepen their knowledge of FM\n• Teams and individuals who are not FMs\, but work closely with FMs\n\nMember fee: $955.00\nNon-Member fee: $1\,055.00\n\n*If you have been working in the construction field for at least 6 months and are currently employed\, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the WorkNow program. \nEmail Nancy Valerio or call 303-352-6019 to learn more!\n\nDisclaimer: As a registrant for our meetings\, you are allowing IFMA Denver to use your photo\, video\, and voice for association promotional purposes\, including but not limited to session recordings\, social media\, print\, or electronic media.
